Inspired by the Cloud Appreciation Society Manifesto, this self-published newsprint explores the theme of clouds through a collection of curated texts and visual interpretations. The selected texts reflect the transient and poetic qualities of clouds, while the accompanying imagery adds a personal visual narrative.
The project includes the full design process, from conceptualizing a title and theme to developing a cohesive visual and editorial structure. Both traditional and experimental editorial design techniques were used, balancing grid systems, typography, and visual hierarchies with creative approaches.
The final publication reflects the interest in independent publishing and editorial design, inviting readers to explore the beauty and impermanence of clouds from the artistic perspective.

相关成果This project uses chromatography to explore the fleeting nature of clouds and the fluidity of emotions they evoke. By carefully applying ink to chromatography paper, the experiment creates delicate color separations that resemble the layered textures and movement of clouds. Each result captures a unique "state" of the cloud, reflecting different moods and atmospheric conditions. This process highlights the intersection of science and art, inviting viewers to observe how color and form can evoke memories and sensations, much like looking at clouds drifting across the sky.

Extending the project’s concept, a set of unique bookmarks was designed, allowing audiences to carry a piece of this visual journey with them. These bookmarks, inspired by the chromatography prints, serve as small, tactile reminders of the project’s themes, merging art and functionality in a simple, charming form.

between sound and peoms, enabling
access to a pre-set audio player upon
scanning. The audio primarily features
human voices reciting poetry, with natural
background sound effects changing in
response to key words mentioned in the
poems, such as the transition from the
sound of wind to the sound of rain.
